Just about the time I think, "I don't have squat to talk about...", God blesses me and on I go. :)
So I'm crusin' through my local Publix yesterday, waiting for my free prescription (the second for 2 of 4 kids in 4 days...-grrr-) and saw two friends, neither of whom know each other, both of whom are normally Kroger shoppers, and both of whom were equipped with a notebook that I was quite proud of and nearly made me drool. Good thing I didn't have mine with me... they might have been discouraged. It's back to the same shape it was at Christmas, when my BFF saw it... Got to be a sign school's nearly out and things are getting crazy schedule-wise.
As I waited in line for Quatro's prescription, the lady in front of me turned and said, "will you spend $30 today or be back before the 20th?". I must've given her the 'huh?' look because she waived a $5 off $30 purchase coupon in my face and said, "I won't be back before then... I'm a Kroger shopper". Step aside, honey. I won't actually spend $30 in here, but the register will show it before I hurl stacks of coupons at it! :)
Needless to say, I sprinted out of there with my free script, Quatro on my hip, and dodged my friends so I didn't have to try to hurt them to keep my new $5 treasure. :) That said, if you shop at my local Publix and live within 5 miles of that store, you will probably be getting said coupon in your mailbox. Woot woot!
Alright- let's have some deals of the week:
1) Land O' Frost is giving away FREE MP3 downloads. Register here, fill out a brief survey, and get yours!
2) Thanks to my friend Kim for this heads up: This Saturday is $1 flip flop day at Old Navy. Last year, these were the "goodie bag" items for the Sisternator's birthday party. Still trying to decide if I'm going to go completely anti-goodie bag this year... I really do loathe the thought of it.
In my mailbox:
A few weeks ago, I posted that you should watch videos posted to the Suave site to get 2 FREE full size hair products. I got my coupons the other day. Woot! The next day, I got a coupon for a FREE hair color from John Frieda products, for registering on their site. Woohoo!
Don't be so skeptical about entering an email address to receive a free product. You don't have to sign up for the company emails and if you do, you can opt out later.
It's Tuesday! Save on, friends! :)

Might I add that just today I rec'd my FREE Hartmann Luggage leather card holder... (when you LIKE them on FB, it comes to your house for free!) and...last week I got a $30 shirt @ JCP for less than $2... (I'll back off and give you the grocery store, but I'm all about a good wearable bargain!! :))
