As I've mentioned before, Wednesday is penny item day at Publix. I usually make my purchases equal $10, so I can take advantage of the penny item as many times as possible-- yes, even sending the Twins & Sisternator through the line with coupons at times [if only Quatro could hold coupons & walk... some day... some day :)]. However, yesterday my purchases were a little different. I sent everything through at once because Publix is running a deal on gas cards. If you purchase $25 worth of groceries (before coupons), you can purchase a $50 BP or Shell gas card for $40. My total was $54, but like I said, that included a $50 gas card (for $40), so my actual grocery total was only $14. Woot woot!! :) Here's my haul:
- 2 boxes Honey Bunches of Oats with Raisins ($0.70 after $3.39 BOGO & $1 off coupons from paper)
- 3 boxes MultiGrain Cheerios ($1.50 each after $1 off 2 and $1 off 2 Publix flyer)
- 3 boxes Planters bars ($0.50 after BOGO & $0.75 off coupons from paper)
- 3 containers Pepperidge Farms Deli Flats ($1 each- Manufac coupon + Publix flyer)
- 1 box Eggo frozen pancakes ($0.40 after $2.79 BOGO & $1 off coupon from Kroger)
- 1 can Muir Glen organic tomato sauce ($0.14 after $0.75 coupon)
- 4 boxes Puffs tissues ($0.13 each BOGO coupons from paper + $1/2 from Target)
- 7 4-pks YoPlus Yoplait yogurt (free after $2/2 BOGO & $1 coupon)
- 1 Publix brand paper towel (Wednesday penny item)
- 1 $50 gas card ($40 with $25 purchase of other items)
