Nestle's Family Program

We've talked before about how being brand loyal really doesn't pan out, if you intend to save money at the grocery. When you are loyal to specific brands, you miss opportunities to get good deals on other products because of simply not paying attention.

With 4 kids and a husband who all drink enough juice to float a battleship, we are constantly on the watch for good deals on the stuff. Previously, I would only purchase juice at Walmart (or Sam's, when I was in that area as... brace yourselves... we don't have one near us), because ounce for ounce, I was seemingly getting the best deal-- and FORGET buying that 100% juice stuff. You've got to be kidding me! That stuff must be made out of gold flakes, not squished fruit!  That's when I started searching out coupons on websites, when stores had things like juice on sale, so I could stock up.

Nestle has a great site where you can do just that. It's called Nestle Family and they generally have coupons for all their brands on the site. If you are unfamiliar with all the brands they carry, see the bottom of their site; I was surprised.

These days, I buy juice (among other things) from whichever store and distributor has it on sale and will even buy 100% juices-- I know... call me crazy. I live on the edge (my friend Catherine calls me a "Mommy on the edge", but whatever). So hop on over to Nestle's site, become a member, and start plucking some coupons. You'll be happy you did. :)
